Who runs this page
I am Nick Leyero, the author of Easify, and I run leyero.tools (also at leyero.store). Write to me at nick@leyero.tools about anything here.
What is kept
If you ask for the link:
- your email address, and how far the three emails have got: which have gone and when, any that failed to send, and whether you unsubscribed;
- the ad that brought you, when the link you tapped carried one: its UTM tags and Meta’s click id (fbclid);
- your country, as Cloudflare reads it from your connection.
From every visit:
- a page view, with the ad that brought you and whether you were on a phone or a computer;
- a tap on Buy on aescripts, with the ad and which of the page’s two buttons;
- how the page was used: how far down it was read, whether a demo played for 3 seconds, whether the email field was tapped, whether the form showed a warning, and how long the page stayed open;
- a click on a link in one of the emails.
The steps of one visit are tied together by a random number the page makes when it opens and forgets when it closes. It is not a cookie and is not kept on your device, so a later visit cannot be linked to this one.
Page views and signups also keep a salted hash of your IP address, never the address itself. It limits how many signups one connection can make, and lets me check the counts for repeat visits and automated traffic. The page sets no cookies of its own.
Why
To send you the link and the two follow-ups the form promises, and to see which ads work.
Who else sees it
- Cloudflare hosts this page, stores what is above and sends the emails.
- The Meta pixel runs on this page only for visitors outside the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, and not when your country is unknown. It tells Meta the page was viewed and, when you ask for the link, that you did, so Meta can measure the ads. It sets Meta’s own cookies, and Meta’s privacy policy covers what it collects.
- Buy on aescripts and the links in the emails go to aescripts.com, which sells Easify. They carry the ad’s tags and Meta’s click id, so a purchase can be credited to the ad. aescripts has its own privacy policy.
- If you reply to an email, the reply reaches me through Gmail.
Nothing is sold, or shared with anyone not named here.
How long it is kept
Nothing is deleted on a schedule. What is kept stays until you ask me to delete it.
Stopping the emails, or deleting it all
Every email has an unsubscribe link at the foot. It stops the follow-ups at once. Your address stays on file, marked unsubscribed, so no more go to it; if you ask for the link again, you get the link and nothing after it.
To have your address and everything kept with it deleted, write to nick@leyero.tools from that address.
